SUMMER LOVIN

Living in the city can be tough sometimes especially when it gets this hot (34º C today) Luckily for me  I ´ll be heading to the beach this weekend and I will stay there for a while....

Today I was wearing floral dress from H&M (s/s 10) and secondhand bag and hat.

Vivir en una gran ciudad puede ser duro, sobre todo en verano cuando en días como hoy tenemos temperaturas de hasta 34 grados. Afortunadamente el próximo fin de semana comienzan mis mini vacaciones  y estaré por el norte un tiempo.

El vestido de flores es de H&M, lo compré en rebajas por 5 euros. El bolso y el gorro son de segunda mano.

THE BOW DRESS

Wishing I was on the beach right now.......

I got the dress at hm, a bit girly for my taste but I like how the bow can be a beautiful accent to any dress in order to make it  a fashion statement.

Dress and leather jacket from hm, sandals from Parfois and vintage bag.

ANIMAL PARTY

Sorry for my bad updating :-) Last Friday We celebrated my friend´s 25th bday. For the ocassion we had a themed party and we all dressed up like animals. The animal world  fully represented from octopus to polar bears. We had a wonderful time!

What about you guys? Do you usually celebrate your bdays this way?

OPENING CEREMONY- CHLOË SEVIGNY RESORT 2010

"Girls buy the same silhouette over and over" reckons Chloë Sevigny, so for her third collection with O.C she gives us 5 looks and 5 reasons to buy a couple of each. For the resort her 5 dress silhouettes come in 5 prints each- a leopard,a polka dot, a handstooth, a paisley and a floral. The standouts here are the cropped knits and accesories. In addition to her own shoe line comprising a few styles with natural wood soles (the platform mule Mary Sue) Chloë and her O.C team collaborated with the nineties footwear brand NANA to reissue and reinvent some classics styles.

What I like:  leopard tights and socks paired with those gorgeous wooden platforms/  the poses of the first 3 pics.

What I don´t like: the boots in the bottom middle. Just horrible!

H&M FALL

Long time no see! It´s been a while since my last post but there´s a good explanation for that....I´ve been enjoying Madrid´s weather :-) Here I leave you with a preview of H&M Fall collection. I found some of the garments very Chloé-ish.

Summer has not yet come and I am already looking for Fall. Can´t wait till these pieces hit the stores.
