Thomas Schütte Hindsight
Thomas Schütte, considered one of the most important German artists of his generation. He studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy.Since the late seventies, Thomas Schütte has worked in homonymous series examining moments of isolation, vulnerability and human despair. It was well known in the eighties with his architectural models: designs that lead to end the ability of simplification and exaggeration. Traditionally his work has been seen a bit utopian. Schütte whole work is imbued with social and political issues and the concern for relevance and position of the artist in society

R.I.P Alexander McQueen
"Lee McQueen influenced a whole generation of designers. His brilliant imagination knew no bounds as he conjured up collection after collection of extraordinary designs. At one level he was a master of the fantastic, creating astounding fashion shows that mixed design, technology and performance and on another he was a modern day genius whose gothic aesthetic was adopted by women the world over. His death is the hugest loss to anyone who knew him and for very many who didn't" - Alexandra Shulman. Read more here
